Cerama-Coat VS Powder Coat VS Gun coat

I am thinking of starting a "Coatings War" thread to help prove or disprove allot of the bunk!
Along the lines of "Glue Wars" which yielded some surprising results.

I think that would be cool, I am getting ready to try Parkerizing a blade or 2 for the first time this weekend and plan to do more in the future. I would love to hear about the pros and cons of the different types of surface treatments from folks who have used them.
