I just purchased a Ceramic Infinity & noticed a very small nick in the end of the blade. It can`t be seen, But can be felt when cutting paper & string.

My question is can you us the Diamond Stones in a Lansky Sharpening set to sharpen ceramic blades ? This would save alot of time if it can be done, Or should I just send it back to Boker & have them sharpen it ?

Any information of this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I have a DMT sharpening system with four diamond laps which would allow for working the edge to a fine finish on a ceramic blade. The reason I mention this is that the Lansky diamond stone I'm familiar with is very course and might only serve to remove material, leaving a rough surface on the edge. If Lansky has finer stones that I am not aware of they would certianly do the job.

They have extra course, Course, Med, & Fine So you think it should work then ? I might give it a try.
