All the Ceramic Sharpeners that I have ever seen advertised have been in the shape of a rod of of some sort. Has any one ever seen one that is in the form of a pocket stone?? If so, would appreciate some info. Thanks.

Yes. The GATCO TRI-SEPS is a pocket-sized triangle-shaped stone, about 4 in. long, with a beaded chain attached.

Spyderco has, for many years produced pocket size ceramic stones in both fine and medium. Give them a call, they had several shapes also for carving tools, gouges etc. Bob

The Spyderco Sharpmaker itself also has a mode whereby two rods can be set down side by side to form a flat, wide benchstone-type surface.
