I always have stuff sent to me Sig Required or insured for over 200 bucks if possible.
I have never lost a knife but my brother once sent me a bunch of stuff that was apparently stolen out of my mailbox.
He had insured it but what he(and I ) didn't realize was that insurance only covers your stuff in shipment.
If your stuff is stolen from your mailbox then as long as the PO can confirm they delivered it you will not be reimbursed.
However if it is marked sig required then it is impossible for it to be stolen from your mailbox. Also if insured for over 200 it requires a signature.:thumbup:
