I have 3 knives up for trade. They are all three used, and in good shape. I will describe them as best I can with the photo's. I will only do trades with folks living in the USA, sorry to our friends in other countries. Shipping international scares me. Trade offers can be sent to my email, with a post made here. No trade is complete until both parties are happy, with a confirmation email that they received the knife/knives and are happy with them. Once the email affirming you're happy is received, and I have sent one that I am happy, I will consider the trade completed and done. I will leave feedback for you, and hope you'll do the same for me. I ship USPS Priority with delivery confirmation and insurance, and expect the same from you. Once I drop the knife off at the post office and get the tracking info I will email it to you.
I am looking for high quality folders. Light users are fine. I've been wanting a Benchmade Rift 950, a large Sebenza or Umnum, a SR1, Spyderco Southard flipper, ZT 550 gen2, or other high quality folders. I like pics before any commitments, and will provide additional pics if you need them. I would also be willing to add an appropriate amount of cash to go with one or more of my knives for the right knife trade. I'm not opposed to multiples in trades. If the right fixed blade was offered I may consider that as well. Busse or a custom comes to mind.
First up is my Spyderco CF Military with M390 steel. It is lightly used, and has been sharpened on my Sharpmaker. It came from the factory with an uneven edge. I never reprofiled it, just sharpened on the Sharpmaker and stropped. It does have some light carry marks on the clip, and some very light scratches on the blade that you can't see except in the right light. Lockup is solid with no play. It is centered properly. Next up is my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Digicam with black DLC S30V blade. It is used. The blade edge has been sharpened and thinned. It does have some light scratches on the blade, and there is some wear of the DLC coating at the tip. The tip doesn't have that needle point anymore. The blade has very slight side play, very slight. No up and down play. It has handling marks and some wear on the clip. The blade is centered. It's a solid user. It will come with a Spyderco box that is labled for a UKPK that I gave to my dad. I don't have the original box for the Para.Trade pending on the PM2
Last is a Benchmade 523SBK Presidio axis tanto. That's what it began life as. I received the knife in a trade and was advised that the 520 blade on it was new, and it appears to be. I have lightly stropped the blade so it is sharp. I have not used the 520 blade to cut anything. The lockup is solid, with no play. It is a very smooth operating knife. The blade is centered. The handle scales have some carry marks, but not bad. The clip has some light carry marks. It will come with the original blade which shows quite a bit of wear. This is a solid user. It will come with the box and paperwork. I don't have a black BM bag for it though.
