I have one of the CF Mils and two of the G-10 S30-V Mils. One is CE and the other PE like the CF Mil.

The fit and finish of the CF is great. It locks up as solid as a Sebenza. It is a great knife but I really can't tell much of a weight difference.

After getting the Cf Mil, I was amazed at how good of knife it was. I hadn't owned a Ml for years so that is part of it. It got me back into the Military design and that is why I bought two of the G-10 versions. What I found out was, the G-10 version in S30-v is also a GREAT knife. In fact, the G-10 version so nice, that if I couldn't have a CF version, I wouldn't be heart broken but I do like it. I love my CF Mil but that also brought me back to the G-10 version that I find I love as well.

Hi,

Do the newer G10 Military models have the same enhancements that the CF and BG-42 models have?

When closed, are the blades centered on yours?

My first quality knife was a Military that I bought about six years ago and traded shortly after. Since then, I have bought, traded and sold between 20 - 30 knives. None were as well designed as the Millie.

Hopefully, I'll be getting one of the new S30V ones soon.

I can't say as I probably have older G-10 Mils. Mine are both S30-v not 440V so that means they are not really old but probably not the new offering that they are making now.

I can say the my CF Mil is the smoothest one of the three. I took one of G-10 Mils apart for cleaning and I cleaned the washers up and oiled them. Now, it is the second smoothest Mil I have instead of the least smooth.

I wonder if I can get PB washers for my G-10 Mils and upgrade them in smoothness?
