CG NMFSH Price

Are there only x many pieces available, or will orders be fulfilled as long as placed in the window? Do they have to be made via email?

No real way to know for sure. Each model is different. Sometimes things are limited and ready quickly, sometimes things seem more plentiful or take awhile to arrive.

We never really know how many pieces are available in a 'Ganza event. Sometimes it has been a very few; other times it seemed unlimited, as people who sent their email days later still got in. But yes, it is by email only, orders taken in the order that the emails are received by Busse. Don't worry, Jerry will post complete directions.

One quiestion gents, for all of you seasoned HOGs,

After the order is place, how long does it take for the factory to deliver the knife?...

...in other words...how long do i have to wait for the fun to begin?...

tks.

That's a hard question to answer.

It depends on whether Busse has already made X number of NMFSH blanks that will be gobbled up in a minute in the Ganza. If this is the case, I would expect 3 to 6 weeks, as it will take time to sort out the orders, then customize the coatings & handles.

More likely, in my opinion, is that the blades have not been made yet because Busse is going to wait to count the orders received during the Ganzaa and create the blades from there. If this is the case, I would expect 8 to 12 weeks. It could take even longer, I'm not sure

What do I know though? I am only the guy responsible for pricing the blade at $347 for the holidays... ;)

Gee, 8 TO 12 weeks sounds fantastic for my finances to bounce back...but 347 bucks sounds F... AWSOME.

Hell, I'll be the one to say it: I would pay the same price for a NMFSH as I would for a NMFBM. These things are going to be EPIC.

skinny scales please :)

The blade looks to be flat ground. So 0.27" would be a good thickness.

I have a CS FSH that is 0.27" thick with handshaped micarta scales and the fit is great. It was one the Easton Show specials, and Garth was kind enough to give it a DCBB treatment after the fact (originally satin), so this new one would make a nice match.
