It's rainning outside and I need some exercise after day work.
The wood in picture was used on the top of electrical pole.
I picked the wood up few months ago from dumping area of local electircal power company before they cleaned the area up.
Very hard wood and super strong for the environment it supposed to be used.

But the wood is nothing for my CGFBM, check it out what damage the CGFBM done in the picture. Very deep cut for each swing.
Of course no chip on the edge. I'm truly satisfied for the cutting power of my CGFBM.

CGFBM won, old hard wood failed! :)

Thanks for the pic man, that must be some hard block of wood. Good to see your CG is gettin some work:thumbup: :D

yes, don't they impregnate that wood with some rezins or oils to make it last in the elements kind of like telephone poles and beams used in piers

Thanks for your replies.
Now the only problem is I can't decide the combination for my next FBM.

asi,
Slashing. ;)

That wood kinda looks like mohagany or something. Thanks for the pic!

hey I just found some busse old pictures I took before, I don't have those knives now.
But I have CGFBM, I think I need one satin tiger GW to be the 'partner' with the CGFBM.
