And better wrap the blade before doing anything else.

Great job- looks like it took that long. Just out of curiosity, what do you use re: hardware (& what epoxy product?) to reattach the scales. Thanks man-really fantastic job on that.

Hi, depends if the customer wants to retain the original scales then I will use heavy wall stainless tube, but if I am replacing them with wood I use brass tube, all sealed with two part epoxy.
There will be a part 2 to this thread when I have finished adding the Jarrah scales.
