Up for your consideration is this NIB Chad Nell Nevada Jr. Sporting a Magnacut blade with stonewashed finish, mirrored edge, thumbdisk and top flip ability. Rocking full polished Zirconium bolsters, pivot collar, pocket clip and I believe the backspacer is Zirconium as well. This Nevada Jr has in my opinion one of the best Abalone inlays I have seen to date, with two full circular rings present and the third with 90% visibility as it hits the edge of the inlay. Fantastic smooth Jade G10 scales round out the presentation and have light catching definition within the material itself. Liners are old school jeweled and liner lock is completely free of lockstick while being early in it’s lockup.
Action is fantastic and freaking snappy! This little bugger flies with ease while having a firm but not overly stiff detent. Blade suction upon closer is top notch. Top flip is authoritative as well. Blade slightly favors the right side and there is some slight color differential under the thumbdisk that is minimal but seen in the pictures and video. Lastly, and this took me over a month to find, but there is slight deviation between the mating of the Jade G10 and Zirconium bolsters in one spot. Look for zoomed in picture 13 on the Imgur link. There is no gap between the materials and absolutely no play. Always want to be a good sport and identify anything I notice.
Knife is NIB, uncut nor carried and not overly played with. Chad Nell is certainly onto a top tier level, creating fundamentally unique aesthetics and build quality that has definitely left it’s mark as of late.
