History: Today i have a blade thats pretty special. Anyone that follows Chad knows how awesome his flippers are (functionally first, the knife is a tank. Centered, action, detent, and lockup). This knife was bought new off the table by a buddy of mine (he actually had a friend pick it up, he was unable to make the show but still managed to have friends in the right places) for 1100. When he got rid of it i wanted to be the one to get it but was unable to get the funds quick enough. After getting it, i've tuned it up, and i think the blade is just a tad to small for me, so on to a new home. A spa would take this back to the 1100 custom i think it is but for now time for a pros and cons.
The Great:
- Action and detent are perfect, fires like a fucking bullet.
- Lock up is bank vault solid.
- Centered (NOW that i have loctited the free spinning pivot).
- Materials (its a dress knife with a gorgeous hand rubbed satin blade).
- Price - $SOLD to Everydavecarry G&S Shipped Tracked and Signature confirmation
The Bad:
- Has been carried, and the blasted handles show trails (one big on near the pivot) like CRK do, also the clip has some scratches (shown in picture)
- Has been used, blade shows some small use (nothing more dominate than the satin, no visible marks, but in the right light you can see, literally impossible to show on camera).
Overall its a gorgeous piece that comes with custom pouch, COA, and the blade. Let me know if you have any questions, multiple websites have these in stock for 1195+ and aren't using the materials or finishes like this.
