Chain damascus

I got some heavy machinery chain from work which I pulled out of a machine.
Its got 1 inch links and I have about 70 links worth of duplex chain and about 50 worth of single chain.
would this stuff be worth keeping for the future when my skills and equipment get to the point that I could turn it into a billet?
Has anyone got some photo's of chain damascus?

Check out Ariel Salaverria's site. He made a sweet machete out of chainsaw chain. You have to make sure it doesn't have any plastic bearings or washers in it. I think its usually used in a canister with higher carbon steel in a san mai style
