I used this on my dark coffee satchel for the first time about a week ago. A couple of the pieces of leather seems to have taken on an appearance that looks sort of dried out... it doesn't feel dry to me, but it looks dry. Almost dusty. Not all of the leather took on this look... the pocket on the back side doesn't seem to show this at all. The flap shows it the most.

Is this a residue from the leather milk? Or did something go weird and dry out my leather?

I'm tempted to get some of the leather cleaner to try and follow up with a reconditioning, but I'd like to know if this is normal or not first.

I noticed when I did mine that the smoother parts didn't get the and the parts with the most "nap" did. My guess is it is just some dried residue. I wiped it off with a damp rag and it came off on my dark coffee briefcase. The one thing I like about that leather treatment is that it doesn't change the feel of the leather.
