Chamberlin Ranch- Traditional Archery shoot.

That looks like a great time! Even though I don't do any archery (now), I'm going to have to check out one of those shoots.

That looks like a ton of fun and great country besides.
It looks like the majority of your group shoots 3 under. I do not think I have seen that many trad shooters shoot three under in one spot.

ha.. you're right.. the vast majority of our group does shoot 3 under.. i never realized it..:o it is what has always worked best for me.. and i pretty much have taught all of my family to shoot, my father in law(in the pics)included..:D there are also quite a few other folks that we shoot with, that shoot 3 under as well..:) witht the exception of us, and some other, the majority of the shooters there shot standard split finger...

3 under FOR THE WIN!!!

I actually was taught to shoot split finger, then, just for the sake of trying it, I shot a few 3 under. Instantly better! Don't ask me why, but for me, I was instantly more accurate and consistent.

It's probably more of a personal preference, some people will like it and shoot better with it, while others won't. I would just suggest that new shooters try both before they get too comfortable with one to change.

I think I have the same take down as Kathrynn, I never get a chance to shoot it, but this thread has me itchin!

Awesome Mike! Thanks for sharing. Looks like a total blast.
BTW, I shoot three under as well.

Great pics fellas! Looks like every one had a blast as always! What a beautful place!!!

Mike, what a great time! The pic of the arrow in mid-flight was cool, and the one of your boy fighting the bear made me laugh. All the rest were great too. What knife you have there on your side? I know you had a necker on too.
