Just picked up this Norfolk pattern swell-center in stag made by Joel Chamblin-nice matched stag and an very slim pattern that really fits in the pocket nicely- 3 3/4" closed, 154 cpm steel:

That's a real nice lookin Norfolk. I like Joel's work. He is impeccable in his fit and finish. If that's the one I think it might be, it had my finger itching to buy it.

...and guess who was responsible for contacting and giving Joel the idea to build the pattern? ;)
(I'm just saying...:p)

Great knife! (As are all of Joel's knives.)

I'm not surprised Elliott. :) The Norfolk is unquestionably an excellent pattern! And Mr. Chamblin sure makes a nice one.

Of course, truth be told, had Tony Bose not breathed new life into that pattern, I'd have been calling Joel to talk about something else. Credit where credit is due.:cool:

I do love that pattern and coming from a big name like Chamblin you know it's going to be terrific. I can't wait until my Case/Bose Norfolk gets back from repair.

I don't have a Case/Bose model yet; I like the pattern a lot, but just didn't get around to getting one. It is like a half-congress with a little "flair":D

I love that pattern and the Case/Bose collab I have is one of my favorite carries. Thank you Tony Bose.

Just stunning. Congratulations on a great choice by a maker I admire for his talent and at the same time as a person.

I prefer single blades but I would put that in my pocket any day of the week, it's gorgeous!

Tony,

Very nice one! I have always liked the single spring/double blade patterns and this one hits the mark. Any chance of seeing a picture of the pile side clip blade?

Here ya go Ken-There is an cut-out on the inside of the stag for access to the nail nick, but the stag is not cut all the way to the outside-giving both scales a symmetrical look-
