i received my new ChangBenza this week and was absolutely stunned as was my wife! the mailing envelope was well done with complete instructions or the postal folks on what NOT to do with the package.

the knife came in a very nice black velvet lined box inside a white sleeve with all the company info, model # and all that. inside was and application to join the AKTI

now for the knife

what a treat to open this baby! smooth as victoria's secret silk panties! the lock snapped in place with that lovely "click" i have so come to enjoy. WOOD!
the blade is every well shaped for everything from opening my mail to slicing up my lame neihgbors and their pets. i live in a very ornery neighborhood and need all the tactical type knives i can get! anyway......i specifically asked for no serrations as some i have seen seem to be good only for putting a nice pattern in my peanut butter or cake icing. i also figured if the neighbors ever got trapped in their cars and seatbelts...well sol! i am not the neighborhood hero. ok, sorry to keep getting distracted.the handle easily conforms to my hand, especially if wet with sweat or blood, i dont know what this magical material is but chang has done it! same with the blade! i cut rope, bones, hairy skin, and completely carved and engraved my driveway! not i nick, chip, or dull spot as later i could still shave my bag without pulling or sticking! i also did the wife...uhhhhh shaved not killed . had ya goin though eh? hehehe

overall, everyone who likes knives at all should definately order one of these babies! virtually indestructable! Chang, you have my sincerest admiration

Tom, depends on how high the cliff is
and
if the knife hits a cinder block at the bottom, now that would be a test!

I seriously think Chris Reeve will have some serious competition coming his way. A truely hand made knife! Way to go Chang.

-Johnny

Chang, when will the Changbenza go into production? Have you talked with 1SKS about a forum version? That is a good looking knife.

WOW! Great Review. I don't have a job or any money, but soon as I gets one (or both) the Changbenza is top on my "Gots to Git it List". Man I be droolin just lookin at the pitcher. That don't mean nothin tho kuz I drool all the time. Momma says as soon as whe gits her job back, she gonna take me to the doctor so I can stop droolin. Anyway since the Changbenza is a Tactical I really, really needs it cuz people are droppin like files in this here neighborhood. Oh yeh I can also use the Changbeza if a dog tries to git me. Mr. Herman, can you tell me the lowest price web site dealer sellin that bad a$$ mo fo cuz I don't have no job. Oh yeh I already said that. Sorry for the rantin and ravin.

Does it have a ceramic ball? You know Chris Reeve uses ceramic balls that cost him forty times as much as a steel ball. If it doesn't have a ceramic ball it isn't as good as a real Sebenza.

Hello Mr. Herman.

the mailing envelope was well done with complete instructions or the postal folks on what NOT to do with the package.
Could you be more specific as to what the post office was not to do?

smooth as victoria's secret silk panties!
Tim, have you actually tried these panties? Did you actually rub your groin area with the knife for reference?

Could yoe please describe said WOOD! How does it compare to the knife when whacking it?

the blade is every well shaped for everything from opening my mail to slicing up my lame neihgbors and their pets
When cutting up neighbors for dinner...how do you season them?

i could still shave my bag without pulling or sticking! i also did the wife...uhhhhh shaved not killed .
Was your bag free hanging, or did you have it pulled taut? Was your wife asleep or awake?

Ray, the world is coming to an eliptical orbit, thus interfacing the 3 phase of plutos outermost moon...in an orbit of 6.4332 +/- 1.54. Dont you know anything?

What does that card board RC at? Will it withstand chopping I-beams?! Can your piece thru a tank with it?!
I do not think the RC is what you are looking for when chopping I-beams. You should be more interested in the solar radiation ruining the world, not to mention the pollution put out by I-beam manufaturers.

tom mayo

i dont think it will pass the cliff test
Next time...lets hold the mayo.

Gary W. Graley

Tom, depends on how high the cliff is
and

Not really Gary. I do not believe that the heighth of the cliff matters. I think the relative gravitational pull on the knife itself, combined with the rotation of the moon are more of a concern here.

Cougar Allen

Does it have a ceramic ball? You know Chris Reeve uses ceramic balls that cost him forty times as much as a steel ball. If it doesn't have a ceramic ball it isn't as good as a real Sebenza.
Cougar, I think most balls have advantages and dis-advantages. Now, CR may have ceramic balls...how ever, hard as his balls may be, I would be concerned about brittleness should his balls smack something hard. I believe Tim likes his steel balls. Tims balls are plenty strong for his needs, although I would be worried about strong magnetic forces ripping them violently out of there proper place. Also, airports could be a problem. The knives is obviously made of an exotic non-detectable material. However, should Tims balls set off the metal detectors, I think that airport security maybe forced to remove his balls.

Mr Herman, should you wish to review knives in the future...please add appropriate info, an incomplete review is simply not acceptable. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing! Comrade Chang's work seldom gets the recognition it deserves. Any chance of a TAC-babe displaying this incredible model?

they were very good with mustard
biggrin.gif
try to shorten your posts, pal, you getting like darrel.

cougar,

it has balls from another planet! even more wear resistant and stronger than ceramic:P so there.

mr rosvall,

i'm sorry

no mo tac girls. it seems beautiful women offend some poor people on the forums so i have been banned from posting these lovely gals. i simply cant see how such lovely girls could possibly offend anyone but there are all kinds of idiots out there that get offended by the lamest little things. it seems some idiot got offended by my mention of a CODPIECE as being not politically correct but i have never heard of any other name for a CODPIECE from history. so color me politically incorrect for ever
biggrin.gif

if everything i post is so offensive to most, why you suppose they still read it and not just zoom past them in disgust? weird eh.

ROTFLMAO, Tim that was actually funny, I didn't know ya had it in ya. Your funniest post before this one was, ":P"

Thanks for the kind review, Tim. For those of you who were wondering, the instructions were something like: do not kick, burn, hit, break over your knee, or otherwise attempt to damage package. Do not submerge in urine.

Tim, I would be very grateful if you took the time to make a tac-babe advertisement for my Changbenza knives. But remember, Changmade only uses advertisements that have lovely Asian girls.

The company is a Taiwanese-American owned knife company, so you can understand why.

Take care everyone.
