For the first time in 20 years Karen and I will not be at the Knifemakers Guild Show. Here is a cpoy of a poster that will be on out table. Sorry to miss any of you that will be there. Hopefully we will see you somewhere else down the road.
That is one of the best things I have heard in a long time. I salute your efforts to bypass the bureaucracy and make sure our troops have what they need. I also think it is great to see that companies are willing to donate materials and money, and that the knife community in general is willing to donate money or whatever is needed to make sure our troops have the best equipement possible. This is the reason that this country is so great. If you need more money for this project I would be happy and proud to give what I could.
Here is a picture of a prototype. I'll post a new picture of one of the actual axes with the carrier a little later when I get a chance to set up a new photo. It is a full tang design about 13" from the top of the head to the bottom of the handle. Weight 1.5 lbs.
Daniel, It isn't going to hurt you to miss a show. I remember seeing this head shape on some of your earlier work. Are you going to do Blade West this year since there having the cutting events?
