Changes at Marbles

Phat
No one is suggesting charity. That is a pretty foolish assumption on your part.

You do not like the direction the company is taking. Thats great.
I tried to supply the facts on why that direction seemed to be changing, and that the new direction is what will make Marbles a profitable, lasting venture.

Marbles had become a knife company for knife enthusiasts.
Not users. Users comprise a much larger market than enthusiasts.
Economics has forced Marbles to do what they are doing. There is a reason Factories are called factories, and not a custom shop.
They are learning that in Gladstone.

Marbles was not a custom shop 75 years ago, why should it be now?

Survival is only overrated if you are considering suicide, and that is exactly what Marbles' was heading towards doing it the "old way".

No need to get nasty, Anthony.
Like I said, I wish them well, and if they are making the right business moves, they will do just fine without my patronage.
