Changing Scales On A Busse

I was hoping to find someone that had take off standard thickness scales that they weren’t using so I could put them on my Battle Saw.

It would be really nice if Jerry just gave us the choice again to order them that way.

Maybe try posting a WTB ad in the WTB section of The Exchange. This is a discussion forum, not the place to find knives/knife parts.

Dude I didn’t mean it as asking right now if someone had a set to sell. I’ve been here a little longer than you I know where the WTB area is. It was just a comment. And I didn’t see his comment regarding the fitment of the scales, I just assumed they would be an exact fit.

So since they are not hopefully Jerry will bring back that option because I’m sure there are a lot more people than just me who prefer the standard thickness scales.

Yes they will, if Shop isn't too busy, you'll just have to cover the cost of shipment both ways plus scales... and that I'd say is a deal breaker with current shipping o/s prices and exchange rates...

But I can dig it… you want to put replacement scales on your Battle Saw… but you don’t want them now and you’re just kinda talking out loud. 👍🏼

Yeah I guess I could have worded it better. I figure if I keep posting about it long enough Jerry might just bring back the option :-)

You'd most likely have that right Northern buddy. Did a rough calculation, would be half the price of a Busse knife.
I'm not too thrilled with the green G10 scales on my only Busse (hell razor II), but seeing I have $1K AUD in the knife, and $200AUD in its Ramos customs sheath, I'm not too keen on throwing hundreds more into it.

So, probably won't. There's always black racquet grip tape!

When Daryl stabs it into a tree stump. I took one look and thought, "I dunno what that is, but that's a quality custom knife of some sort! I want one!"

Now, one ratmandu, rodent 6, rodent 9, mega ratweiler, Busse infi hell razor II, and Busse infi Beating Heart later ....... ,😀👍🇦🇺

You might be able to find someone on your continent to cerakote the scales you have, or even the entire knife to different color(s). This Trough Raider was done over the original canvas handles to be a matte black like the INFI around the scales.
