the hike to smugglers cove was pretty damn cool. we found this sign with a cool skull on it.

the trail to smugglers was really sandy and the sand was blowing hard on us in 65 mile an hour winds.

I always wondered how they got stuff on and off the islands and this is how.. I thought this was neat.

a very special thanks to island packers for the safe boat ride out to the islands and the very calm curtius crew they had.

very nice photos. Where did they drop you off? I've done the hike across the island as overnighter from (I think) Pirates Cove. Very cool place to get away from the crowds.

That looks sweet. Lots of nice pics, definitely looks like fun. Thanks for sharing

Great pics buddy, some cool stuff there for sure !!!!

What is the purpose of the rock tied under the atlatl ?

Awesome pictures! The tree with the face is pretty cool, and how do you break eye vessels? I have to go with you one of these days when I'm done with school, which is less then a month away, finally.

Great pics ...

I did four spectacular dives off Anacapa this past August - so so sweet. Fantastic vis.

great pics, The channel island are on my list of places to check out soon.

the rock under the atlatl gives the stick a balance point and helps with the forward motion when the stick is to light.

I passed a kidney stone while I was hiking and my eyes were kinda bugging out when I was pushing it out... it was super painfull and I had to continue to hike back to camp 2 more miles.

Apart from the eye that looks like a great trip. Almost reminds me of some of the islands over here.

This time of year I find myself drawn more to the coast than ever, purely to get some fresh wind on my face and to avoid flying biting PTAs.

No shots of the Atlatl spear in action?
