Charcoal Dymondwood Question

Seeing how persistent negativity is bad for your health, it might be good for you to try a new brand of knives since you don't like any of the new models. Maybe the knife company you like will have a forum and you can spend a lot of time there!

:D

I'm only negative on most of Buck's new knives. I'm incredibly enthusiastic about a lot of the old ones.

Most of the new knives are either for mall ninjas or collectors of "manufactured" "collector's items" (one of one thousand--wow, I gotta buy THAT!) or gullible wannabe survivalists these days, so whether Buck or otherwise, they really don't register much in my world.

Thanks, anyway.

;)

I got to the only big sports/outdoor show we have every year,and one year there was a guy selling/promoting sog knives,toting them as the toughest knife in the world,indistructable i believe he called them,anyways long story short,he challenged me when i told him Buck knives were the best ,i passed him mty 880 strider and he gave me some folder ,and side by side we did his little test he had set up,I broke that sog in 15 seconds,he couldn't break my 880 spearpoint.LOL

I'm in my 50's sooooo, guess I'm old school too! I had a hard time when they went from flat grind to saber grind...but I'm over it. Buck hit a home run with this single blade 302!! Keep them coming :p

LMAO,What was the test Razor?:eek::thumbup::D

It was splitting a stick to show the strength of their lock system,I broke their knife on the third hit,just using the back of my hand,The 880 went through the whole block until it was kindling size sticks, using a wooden mallet ,the next day there was no test to show anyone.lol

Well done, Razorblades!!

They made a big mistake letting you and your Buck in on their test.
