A close Friend of my family was battling cancer, and a lot of people in our community chipped in items at an auction to help the family out. I decided I was going offer up a knife I had just started and was making for myslef.
It sold sight unseen by another friend of mine. I promised him I would make it so that he would like it.

Charlene has since lost the battle with cancer and gone to be with the Lord. I deliver the knife to Jeff Tomorrow.

Charlene was a friend and sister of mine too. There were so many expenses involved with that battle and most of the church community here in town chipped in. It was amazing how much support and money the family recieved. She is missed.

Larry thats just simply a fine looking knife and sheath! Jeff is going to be thrilled!

Thats a great thing you have done.......IT will be remembered........Bless you ........carl

That's a really good cause and a great looking knife. I'm sure your friend will be quite pleased with it. It was good talking shop with you the other day.

Very beautiful knife Larry, and an even better thing you did to help out.

We really need more people like you in the world. Sorry to hear about your friend.

That was truely a fine gesture. The knife and sheath are beautifull too. I'm truely sorry for your loss, my mother passed from cancer on 2/13 also.

Nice knife, and very nice gesture Larry. Good on ya Bud!
Matt
PS Love the logo.

I like the knife a lot, also like the button a lot, can you tell us more about that?

I got the dime from Bruce. I just did some reserch and the dime is a mercury dime not sure if the W is a typo or if it is on the front of all dimes. W is for West point and west point did not mint mercury dimes in 1945. and it is supposed to be silver.

Great knife and a very touching story Larry.

I love your logo.

If you're ever around Winlock stop by and I'll give you some tips on hand sanding to get those stubborn marks out. I am a glutton for punishment and take S30V to a 600X hand-rubbed finish when I use it ;)
