I ordered this one a while ago and could not be happier! I didn't take it all the way apart, but wanted to show the jeweling work done on the inside....amazing!

Thank you to Charly for the exceptional work...it is beyond description. Thanks to Michael Donato for helping me sell off some other pieces and for the great deal on this new Bennica!

Incredible workmanship. Bennica knives are probably as well made as any, and they are alway a pleasure to look at.

The engine turned interior surfaces are a very cool detail.

The COOL factor just went into afterburner. Incredible.

Quite the acquisition. A smart one, as well. Charles' values have always been high, and they aren't showing signs of leveling.

I'm jealous.... :p (Kudos to Mike Donato. He's grade AAA+!)

Easy to see why you are happy. That level of craftsmanship is just outstanding and the knive is beautiful. Lapis is a nice stone.

Would you just ban me from the site before I need to buy something like that. On the bright side it's probably not attainable even if I could afford it.

Congrats on this. This is extraordinary. Trully a pinacle of any collection.

I have ordered a Tim Wright folder with Lapis Lazuli. You should look into Wright's folders too.

Joss, I want a Wright folder badly and you just told me the info that I was waiting for....it was my understanding that he was not working with stone yet. If he is able to use stone, then I am ready to order.

Thanks!

He's investigating it. He's never done it before so isn't sure where to get the stone and how to work it, but it's something he's been interested in for a while - so he told me.

Don Fields had some really nice Lapis Luzi and the NY show, try contacting him.

I might be afraid to dis-assemble a knife of that caliber, one slip with the screwdriver and it's on it's way back to Charles for polishing!

My pleasure! Thanks to you all for the kind words on the piece.

Chuck, I was thinking the same thing as soon as I began the disassembly process....a good bit nerve racking.

I think we need a polishing guru for all of our polishing needs.....Coop, you up for an adding another branch to your business? :)
