Has anyone got real life experience with Charles Jones blades? He’s got a kukri he makes in 3V that I am considering. Mostly I want to be sure his blades are heat treated for optimized toughness and edge holding. Also, knowing if he honors his warranty would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Go and read his terms on Etsy.(I know he has a separate website) The no return policy and and a review stating a 3v tanto was shipped dull, leading me to not pull the trigger. He makes nice looking knives, but for the price? He may make an outstanding product and make knives for decades to come, or close up shop next week. If you do buy a knife from him, consider doing a review..

Hmm…that doesn’t make me want to buy a blade from him. How would I go about finding someone to make a Delta 3V kukri or camp axe/hatchet? Who’s the best?

Nathan Carothers.

(But you know that.)

I don't know anyone other than Nathan either, For a commercially available 3V kukri Cold Steel is the only thing that comes to mind. Good luck.

Idk who the maker you are talking about is...... But,

Are you Sure you like and want a Kukri?

I Love big choppers. Love Chopping.
I thought I'd like them, bought a Becker BK21.
It's often thought of one of the best production, American made versions.

After using it, it's definitely an acquired skill. It's Very different than a big knife.
I'm not sure I like them, the balance is weird. Not as great as I hoped

I'd hate to see you go out of your way on, spend a ton, then not like them anyway....

If you yourself will be the pony I think he'd consider it..

I am sure. I’ve owned a cheap kukri for
I would PM him from the above link if you’ve got enough posts/clout to do so. That’s where I would start. Might start out offering ponies too :p
My apartment complex does not allow ponies, and it looks like I have no clout. Does he ever feel sorry for cloutless apartment dwellers you think? And maybe he throws them a kukri bone?

I am sure. I’ve owned a cheap kukri since my 17 year old son was born. Still have it. Still works. But now I like really good knives.

Dude, you're SOL when it comes to getting a custom CPK is my best guess.
