rbmcmjr- Yes,Charles May's knives are really seriously well made,gorgeous knives that are made to be used.I have a few others,and a few more on order.I would not be trying to sell this knife at this time,but I picked up a few knives in the past two weeks,and have to let one or two go,and since I have some more C.May's on order,this is the sacrificial piece!!! His wait time has increased,we'll see how long this lasts,at $165.00,delivered,and no wait,Thanks for the comment,Vince
