Good evening BladeForums. Hate to do this but I need to move one of my blades and with my small, limited lineup this is the odd man out.

I had charlie make me this pocket cleaver a few weeks ago and it was everything I hoped it would be; 100% badass. It really kills me to sell it and I know I'll be ordering another at some point.

This forged 1095 pocket cleaver is 7 3/4" overall, .250" at its thickest right at the ricasso and it has a slight distal taper in both directions, great feel in hand.

The handles are hand textured cocobolo and are an amazing example of the wood. Fantastic color, grain and it has a beautiful surface sheen and chatoyancy.

The blade features a very nice hamon, forge finish on the flats and an unsharpened swedge but if you slapped it on a stone it would thin out nicely into an edge. The pommel forms a very wicked skull buster and has a lanyard hole drilled in it.

Sheath is nice and thick leather that is wonderfully dyed to match.

Great little package and rides very well in jeans. It was carried a handful of times, and used about the same number of times. It does have a light patina around the tip area that can be seen in the picture. This is from me unexpectedly helping with dinner prep one night. I love patina so I leave it on all my blades but if its not your thing I'm sure some flitz would take care of it.

Price is $225>>>$200 shipped conus via paypal gift or add 4% to cover the fees. This is less than I paid and this blade is fresh off the hammer. Charlie said this is the most decked out pocket cleaver he's ever made.

Additional pics upon request, just trying to list this asap.

First I'll take it gets it either here it via pm/email.

Thanks for looking!

What's the length of the cutting edge? And am I confused or does the sheath look to be a left-hand carry? Thanks.

Cutting edge is 3.75.

Sorry I should have mentioned, the sheath doesn't have a belt loop. I wanted to keep the footprint smaller for pocket carry and to not restrict it to handedness. It can be carried on either side just as easily.

Thank you for looking!
