Only just came across this, but glad to hear you're doing OK CM

Nice work! The beginning is the toughest part. Eventually you will find things to fill the time. Life will take on a new normal and it gets easier. Keep on keeping on!

I haven't dealt with Charlie mike personally, but I enjoy your posts and just wanted to say congratulations and keep it up. I wish some people in my life would deal with their problems.

Congrats Matt, like my Old Man used to say,"...long term goals, short term accomplishments" you'll always have success.

I know these coins well. In fact my father in law just got his 1 year coin. Keep it up brother I know its not easy but its so worth it.

I'd love to have a year chip. I know the only way to get one is to stay sober today.

CM, there are 377 Year Chips on eBay.

But I'm pretty sure the best way to get one is to earn it.

CM, we don't really know each other but I wanted to say that I have been following your progress and I admire your determination to take charge and change your life. Good luck and stay the course, you can do it.

CM great to hear from you. Stick with the VA program, get help for your PTSD and your "self medication". You earned it, reap the benefits. One step at a time! Whoaa

Update...

Going to court tomorrow to plead to a misdemeanor in DV court. The offense is almost always prosecuted as a felony but since I only grabbed/restrained her (no bruises or injury), my case was not the norm. The court is requiring me to complete 52 weeks of anger management classes and after that is done, I can withdraw my plea and enter a not guilty.

Soon, we will be filing for divorce. I'm going to let her dad keep my round column milling machine and DRO since he is also a hobbyist and we are still on good terms. My new home/shop is probably going to be inhabitable by October. I'm buying a Grizzly 0731 knee mill and a Burr King 2x72 when I get moved in.

Still sober. Doing 2 meetings a day. Working steps with a sponsor.

Keep it up, Matt. We're all rootin' for you.

When I get time, and school slows down a little, and you get all those goodies set up and running, I head over there & buy you lunch.
