There are a few other threads in g/b/u about Charlie Mike (all good), but I wanted to throw mine in too. CM modded a Cold Steel Spartan for me, to improve the ergos, reduce the bulk, lose the recurve, and give it some flavor. And I'm well pleased with it.

But what I wish to report is that the USPS screwed up the delivery (back to me) and sent the knife off to some unknown zip code. CM offered to send me his own modded Spartan to replace it, though the missing package was not his fault. My knife did arrive, and all is well, but CM was prepared to do what it took to have a happy customer.

Yes this CM guy is OK.

He once said he would rather be hated for who he is than loved for who he is not.
 
That's pretty stand up.:)
Alot of what he does may be weird, but he's making the customer happy, and in the end, that's what counts.:thumbup:
 
I only know CM through the web, but he has always seemed like a forthright guy from every thread I've read. I miss some of the crazier stories, though ;)

Oh, and the knife looks pretty good, too. Everytime I see something of yours, CM, it seems to get better.
