Charlyn and Spyderco Customer Service

I have to say that I've always received AMAZING customer service from Charlyn and her crew. I sent in a knife I bought here and it just wasn't right. I contacted Charlyn and told her my story. She advised me to go ahead and send it in with $25.00 to do a rebuild. I got it back and it still really wasn't right, so I contacted Charlyn again and she sent me a UPS call tag that day, I was notified 1 day after they got it that it was done and coming back to me. AMAZING. However they did advise me that when it was received by them and all was within normal parameters. A quick email to Charlyn and to the rescue she comes yet again, she personally went over it to be sure. Now I haven't got it back yet but that doesn't matter, I feel confidant it's as good as it's going to ever be again. That is good a ole' American knife manufacturing company's customer service.
My hat is off to Charlyn and the CS staff at Spyderco. Sal you run a class act over there in Golden.

Incredible right, funny how much it hits home in this day and age when folks are just really nice.
 
^^^ Yup!! When you get treated with respect it seems to be the exception rather than the rule....and it really gets noticed.

A few months ago, I sent a Spyderco Ti Millie in for a warranty issue. Because of the past stellar customer service I've received, I decided this time to return the favor; so I include a framed 8x10 autographed photo of myself (taken back when I used to do part time modeling for Quiksilver).

Although I can't personally speak for Charlynn, I've been having this cosmic feeling that she's been feeling conflicted as of late. :love_heart: The mountains of Golden Colorado are without a doubt, beautiful...but the reflection off of the majestic, deep blue Pacific Ocean into my eyes; they've been known to have a mesmerizing effect on some women. :)

FYI: I'll be at Lower Trestle's tomorrow morning, Charlynn.

I've always found Spyderco CS to be top notch too. I am lucky enough to live close to the factory, and going in there is always a joy to talk to the employees. I get to see Charlynn every year at the seconds sale, and it's always great to put faces to the names.

Also had great experiences with Spyderco CS

when I called once a few years ago asking if they had any hardware for an original Manix lockback as I needed a stripped handle screw to return the knife to working order the CS lady ended up sending me a whole parts rebuild kit for the knife!!!! I was so impressed and that's why I return to Spyderco products again and again

A true great American company!!
