Hi all,
In the midst of my HT oven build and am excited to play around with steels that I just couldn't do with the old 2 brick setup.
I am having a hard time finding a chart though that details which quenchant for what steel. I get air/oil/water but what is a medium or fast speed quenchant?
Is Maxim oil's Duratherm G (for example) good for x,y steels?
Canola worked fine for the 1084 but as long as I am getting an oven I should make sure my HT ducks are in a row.
Thanks!
