Howdy BF, I’m looking to move my Chaves 228 since I just bought a new H&K.
If you’re familiar with the 228, you already know. This thing is thick. Very smooth and opens and closes with authority. I believe this was a BladeHQ exclusive from several years ago - speed holes in the scales and a swedge on the blade. The blade was given a light polish by RecalcitrantAmerican and I believe he darkened the scales. When I received it, the clip was blue - I polished the blue off and left it with a satin-ish finish. I also stonewashed the scales and buffed the pivot and thumb studs. The blade has some very light staining and the edge has been sharpened.
I’m asking $900 or best offer. No trades.
