Chaves 228 or Tanto CRK?

I need some guidance.

I already have a Chris Reeve Large 21 Tanto from TNK and I LOVE IT.

I'm picking up a Ramon Chaves 228 this week from a local forum member and I cant wait.

I've been thinking about picking up a Large 21 Micarta Tanto as well as a Umnumzaan Tanto from TNK sooner or later.

I'm torn whether I should jump on the available knives that TNK has (necessitating the sale of the 228 shortly after aquiring it) or if I should wait and pick up the other CRK tantos I'm interested in down the line. I'm not sure what availability these knives have as I see some are sold out already. Is there a steady stream of these exclusive knives coming into TNK? Is the 228 overhyped and under delivering?

Whats the general concensus around here?

You've got the bug my friend. I would say keep your Chavez, and give it some time, then jump on the umnumzaan later. Both knives are very different I think, and you may regret selling the chaves. Just my two cents

Its been a busy two months...

Ended up buying a Custom Redencion that I just sold, and a couple more CRKs that arent going anywhere.



My 228 has been customized also. Its been a wild ride...
