Chaves Knives Opinions

I have a Fluted Ti Military that is my fave Ti frame lock (so far). And the non-Fluted Ti Military looks great.

But the Redencion seems to be on another level. A real brute !

Anyone know if the Redencion's clip is held on with Torx screws ?

I won't knock the quality, but I'd have to put wheels on it to carry it around. Can't handle the weight like I once could.

You seem set on it Wolverine, get one and try it out. If you don't like it as much as you thought you would, put that gold membership to use via the knife exchange ;)

Wait , ya mean I can sell knives on the exchange ?

Haha thank you , oh wise one ;)

Bulky & not EDC friendly but great for modding and fun to look at. This is my first run 228 :)

Well it's just so 'silly' to be a user knife. If you're toting this around when you're 60 and someone sees they'll think you went senile and lifted it off your teen-age grandkid.Plenty of knives in premium steels cost 20% of what you're paying for this knife.Doesn't take $500 to make a good framelock and titanium doesn't mean that it's not capable of slipping from under the blade in hard use.If you plan to have this knife that long you'll desire G-10 or zytel scales. You'll see lock technologies come out that will distract you from the Rendencion.A lot of premium steels coming out will make S35VN pretty obsolete soon. Here's my point...

A somewhat friend of mine collects Microtech's,a few Strider's,a Sebenza or two with different inlay material, knives in rare/discontinued steels...all that good stuff.Of course that's his priority over putting food on the table for his kids or paying for any real necessity...and he makes the most in his family.Think about that when you see these guys talking about what they spent on a knife and they tell you to go for it...probably living off of Ramen Noodles and PB sandwiches.$500 knife...better not be capable of disappointing you in any way at that price. The titanium handle is worth more than the blade steel.

So do you feel that no knife is worth $500 (or higher) ?
