CHE Info?

WOW greater, I hate to hear that as I could sense from your posts that you were really anticipating the Che'. I hope what you got was just a fluke and that you get it replaced with one that operates as it should. I know it took me over a year to decide to put as much money into a Boker as I did with the Titan Defender. Thankfully mine worked out better than I could hope for and led me to another Boker, AF-FD, and now a third, the Lightweight Titan Defender. Let us hear how it all goes!
 
I just called today and asked for a replacement that works properly. They asked me to return the defective one. I will see how it works out.

I will. It was just sent back today. I think this is a one in a hundred fluke and I was the unlucky one to get it.

I sent a note describing the problem and asking for a replacement. If a suitable one is not found, which I doubt, I may choose to accept an alternative but I really like the Che's platelock and overall design after seeing it up close.

I hope they have more in stock (I think they do) so I can enjoy one in full working order.

The dealer I use has been proven to be quite good over the years and Boker products I have handled past and present have at the least been satisfactory to me if not very good when used as intended. I like their looks and design (I am a button lock fan.)

I will let you know how it turns out.
