As a parting shot...I feel obligated to inform everyone who resisted the tempation to slam my so called "multiple Personalities", I have a tip... may be old news, maybe new news... Cheap As Dirt Sporting Goods.com Thank me later, literally cheap as dirt. Not for the custom/auto crowd, but for average guy/gal looking for an outrageous price on some of the top names...no one here can beat it. Specialty items of corse are best sought through private dealers, or hell even Fred. For those who slammed me this little tip ought to add a little sting, for your less then civilized behavior towrads me

CTD has some of the lowest prices on most outdoor/survival gear. But their prices on KNIVES are far from the lowest online. Shop around a little, Dirty Dave, you'll see

This place is about 5 minutes from me. Lots of neat old surplus, and good prices on some stuff. More or less a big clearinghouse I think.

With the money I'll save at CTD, I'll be able to buy that new Frost survival knife I've always dreamed about and still have some dough left over to help pay for my mother's medication. Thanks again. $99.76 - $199.75 is $14.97
$199.76 and up is $16.97

I wonder what it would cost you to have a knife shipped overnight?!?!?!

Senator: I agree their shipping prices are outrageous. But they do have some excellent prices. I buy most of my ammo from them, and I have been very satisfied. I have returned a few items, and they took them back and credited my card. The Federal 9bp hi-shock 9mm hollow points are by far the cheapest that I have ever seen for a box of 50. My local Wal-mart wants $20.30 plus sales tax, and I can get them from Dirt for $10.33. Big D1
 
i agree with senator....the prices on SOME goods cdt sells are great but the shipping charges will rape your price back to what everyone else sells it for including shipping...i too had thought i had found the fountain of great deals at cdt only to realize it was a mirage and a great marketing illusion.....feverdoc

ps...you guys need to check out some of the "ammo dumps" on the internet such as claflin cartridge or cole distributing or cascade ammo....i have had good luck with all of the deals i have made with each of these companies... fresh clean ammo that has never misfired or hang fired with fast courteous service by the respective companies....just watch their prices and shop around....most will have specials on that ammo you want sooner or later and the shipping will be included in the price or you will have to pay a one time yearly fee of 7.50 for all the shipping throughout the year if orders are over 50.00 bucks and thats not hard to do in one order....feverdoc

Yep....shipping charges at CTD are outrageous..thought I got a good deal at one time on a few SureFire Flashlights only to find the shipping charges ate into my savings....what a bummer......LOL....That was some great ammo you got for me last time also FeverDoc.........no misfires AT ALL!

The rifle scope prices are steep. I guess any time anyone telss me that a sites prices are the best, I have to ask myself if they are selling what I want to buy. As a veteran web shopper, these guys can be beat VERY easily.
