Finally got a new pc after several years. Looking for a cheap drawing program that will do movements around pivots and maybe linkages. My brain is forgetting math and a pencil is so old school anymore.
DraftSight for one - "IF" you're only interested in 2D drawing. For 3D there are other programs that are better. Draftsight is almost an AutoCAD clone so was easy for me to use.
Fusion360 is rather easy if computers aren't completely foreign to you. The drawing part handles alot like AutoCAD(pretty much 1:1). Or you could always have someone do it for you -hint hint-
I downloaded inkscape and i like it a lot. Editing the splines is easy and pivoting is very nice, just click on the outline twice (not a double click) and move the pivot point and then start rotating. Wow, i should of done this a long time ago. I had been doing paper cut outs and if i punched a hole a little off i had to recut a paper blade and try again. This is so much easier.
I designed this the first time ever using the program in about an hour, and didnt even need a tutorial. It is pretty intuitive.
