I've been loving the Mtech 800TN lately. I also have a couple of the mt-a820s in different colors, they look cool and have a massive blade that opens with a mighty thwack. I did find your other review after I commented on this one, and I ordered me a gold flame version.
Good stuff! glad you were able to find a knife you liked the looks of.
The steel is claimed 440 - most probably 440A - but I have found 440A pretty respectable for a general purpose knife.
Takes a good keen edge and manages to hold it reasonably well. (to put all this in context the early Kershaw/Ken Onion Leek was 440A)
