Cheap INFI!!! . . . Scrap Yard Introduces Its First INFI Blade. . . .

Edit, just checked and OUT-OF-STOCK. Looks like I'm SOL.

There's an outside chance I may get four instead of the two I ordered. My order went through twice. I emailed SYK to correct the mistake, but haven't heard back. If I wind up with four of them, then I'll let you know. :p

Hey Unsub...nice catch. I think the thing that may surprise you right off ; no sheath. I'm not downing the system, y'all. Just lettin' him know...now you need to get pants!
Oh, and the other thing...how many more you'll have this time next year :)

Wait a second...I thought I ordered one but now I don't remember if they were in stock at the time or not...? Is Scrapyard like a Company Store setup or like the Busse Combat website? Grr...this is starting to get irritating.

It wont let you add one to the cart if its out of stock. Looks like your in:thumbup:

I am a cheap bastard and never thought I would ever buy one of those over hyped US knives like Busse and Strider. No I was happy with my Moras and CRKT's. Those boutique knives are for gushing fanboys and mall ninjas right?
If I want to pay more than a hundred bucks for a knife I would get a custom.
Well I just bought the INFI Scrapper and I am still kindoff surprised I did it.
I had tried to buy a scrapper 6 a couple of weeks ago but they were out of stock(under my 100$ limit). So when I heard that the INFI 4's were in stock I checked it out. It was WAY more $ than I wanted to spend but it was an even better EDC than the 6 and I kept hearing INFI INFI like a little voice whispering in my ear. So any advice or warnings now that I have popped my Busse cherry? Does anyone have the actual specs for INFI like how much carbon, cromium etc?

You've done incredibly well, most people can't get into INFI for under $200. And a year from now people will be buying and selling that knife for twice what you paid for it.

But having bought it to use it, I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Sometimes the edges need to be touched up on out of the box infi, sometimes not, but I'll assure you that no matter how sharp it comes from the shop, you can get it much sharper with some ceramic and a strop. I mean seriously hair popping sharp with a polished edge. It sharpens easily like low grade carbon steel, and stays sharp like expensive carbon and CPM steels. And it's stout, so you can punch steel drums and open ammo crates with it.

Have fun, and be sure to give us a "range report" when it comes in!

You guys have got me very looking forward to my scrapper showing up.
I will do a good review both for here and a canadian forum I frequent.
They do offer a sheath for the scrapper but it did not look great so I passed.
I already sent an Email to Normark for a slick EDC rig. Maybe it is just me but it seems that alot more Busse knives end up as userers than other knives in that price range(Strider).
