I am a bit of an Astronomy dork. The two hobbies overlap at times.

My brother has the stainless finished Winchester version from Walmart and it came razor sharp.
But because it's sharp he thinks that he has to save it to use if he ever goes hunting and bags a deer.
I like the looks of the knife, and I planned on getting one to use as a ultra manly steak knife but the stopped selling them.
I may have to get the new faux stay one that they sell.

I think they're about 20$.

I'm not too sure about it though, it seems to be one of those mom I want this knives.

Last time I was at Walmart, a kid was trying to get his mom to let him buy it, telling her " I'll only use it for camping" and " what if a burglar breaks into my room "
But she just kept telling him " your not gonna walk around with a huge knife on your belt acting like Rambo "

Due to price, they will certainly be a knife that kids can pester their parents for.
I would have successfully pestered mine for it if it had been around when I was a kid. :D

It took a lot more pestering and convincing to get them to foot the bill for a Buck Nighthawk, that's for sure. ;)

If you get one for $20 and it's as decent as the one I got for $16, you won't have wasted your cash.
Even if it only gets used to carve the Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas ham in a "Ramboish" fashion, it will be worth it. :thumbup:

And I fully approve the idea of kids walking around with huge knives acting like Rambo. :)
 
This city'ish man is jelly of your woods & outing ;) if I went I could have brought some herbal goodness to enhance it even more. :D The looks that toad gave you are classic.
 
That third picture of the toad is priceless! He looks like he's saying "just what the cornbread hell is goin' on here?"
