Good quality materials with proper heat treating and tempering. I just had some small pieces of steel and wood that I couldn't bear to throw away so turned them into this little knife.

Ground from 1/8 inch 1095
Machine finish on the grind
The only forging I did was to put a texture on the flats
Curly maple handle treated with boiled linseed oil
Overall length: 7 inches
Blade: 3 3/8 inches
Leather scabbard

$85 includes mailing to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com Please contact me for other payment methods or overseas shipping costs.

Very nice as usual, Gerry!!

Your sheaths alone should command close to that price!

You always do wonderful work.

Congrat's to you Russ........

Oh, man, that is my kind of knife! Way to go Russ! I was definitely in line for this one, behind Wrightknife, of course. Just glad for my collection of similar creations from Gerry's gifted mind and hands. This one was different though...maybe the curly maple or the swell of the handle...or perhaps a slight increase to the the belly and drop of the blade... Anyway it had me at first sight, and now it's gone! Enjoy!

John,
That is exactly the way I felt when I first saw it. It had me right away. I think it was the curly maple in combination with the curve of the blade. For me to buy a knife it has to speak loudly to me first and then speak softly to my wallet which this certainly did. A simple little beauty and dare I say cute.
Thanks Gerry.

Russ
