Every so often someone will contact me and say that I need to sell some cheap not stabilized blocks.
Usually I will reply "you can get that at the lumber store". But they usually want figured wood so I thought I would give it a shot and see what happens.
I selected maple because it is one of the very easiest woods to work with. These blocks have had a quick sanding at 120 grit and have been sprayed with a light coat of lacquer. When you fine sand and finish these they will look much nicer.

This is some old stock Maple that I have had in storage for a few years. Moisture content is 12% which is right for dry wood stored in an unheated area this time of year.
You should let this wood acclimate about a month before using it. This would also be good stuff if you want to do a bit of experimenting with dyes or do your own stabilizing. My thoughts are that you are better off getting wood dyed and stabilized by one of the professional stabilizing companies like K&G, but that is just my opinion.

These blocks are $15 each, or $10 each if you get 5 or more blocks.
US Shipping is $5, International Shipping is $25 for your whole order whether you get one block or all of them.

When you decide which blocks you want, just post "I'll take #s ...." and I will mark them sold for you.
Please send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a paypal invoice for payment. Payment requested within 24 hours.
