I went to a local restaurant supply store and found this steam tray pot with a lid for around $7 total. I also found a pizza tray holder that works perfectly for grabbing the pot.
Next I went to the local Lowes store and bought a few feet of copper ground wire to make a handle.
Drilled two holes and bent the copper to complete it.
I guess I rushed a bit as the holes are just a little to close to the top of the pot and the copper sticking through makes the lid raise up a bit. So I just had to hammer in the bottom of the lid on both sides to let it seat all the way flush.....still works good.
As a bonus, I discovered my GSI SS cup and Nalgene fit in it perfectly as well!
Just another option for boiling water that I thought you guys might want to see.
