Cheap ZT?

So I check my email this eve, and there's the 'Mid Month Sale for September' email from an online retailer. And in the list there's a Zero Tolerance 0452CF for $159.95, $60 less than I've seen it elsewhere.
I believe ZT has an enforced MAP thing, so I check and double check, but it seems to be really for sale at that price.

Am I missing something? Or is that a deal to be jumped on? Academic at this point as I ordered one, I'm not going to turn it down at that price. Will post here about how it works out for me. Should take about 2 weeks before I get it.

AFAIK I'm not supposed to name the retailer here, and I have read less than favorable things about them on BF. But I have bought from them once before and got a ZT0562 G10 Elmax for US$144, and it arrived in due course. Very nice folder.

The OP is in NZ, so standard shipping from the US could take about 2 weeks.....

Yep, unless I pay more for DHL or the like, its usually about 10 working days or so.

You need to do research on the reputation of this store before getting your hopes up too high. I know what site you are referring to and they have a record of bad transactions for a long while now.

Fair enough. I had searched BF for things about them and yeah, read some things that make me realise I'm risking it. Thanks for reinforcing that for me.
As stated though I have used them once before with no problem. And today I have the 'Your Order has Shipped' email from them so I'm hoping for the best.
Will report back with the end result, be it good or bad.

Well, it got as far as NZ customs, who seized it because it's, quote unquote, One (1) Zero Tolerance Flick Knife.
Unbelievable. I've had several other non-assisted flippers come through no problem.
Emailed NZ Customs and carefully and politely explained their mistake, including links to where in NZ one can buy flippers over the counter, including this exact knife. To no avail.

So now I'm going to have to try and get a Police Consent to Import a Prohibited Item. If I'm able to achieve that, big IF, by convincing the Arms Officer I'm a collector and meet the security requirements, at least it may open up future opportunities to acquire a few actual auto's, or Flick Knives as they so quaintly call them.
Ah well, I can but try.

Sorry to hear that. The 0452CF is a great knife. I am sure the Customs Officer is enjoying it.
