Anyone else seen this beaut at wallyworld? Makes you wonder just how much profit they make off of something like this? Seen many knives cheaper than this (not a clearance item)?

Nope I have not seen one cheaper... The real question is would it be worth your time to sharpen?

Cajun Blaze did a nice little youtube video on that POS knife :)

People actually have spine-whack tests and more being performed on these in YouTube videos :D

If you need a back-up or two for stashing in a boat, glove-box, garage...about the same as all the thousands of swap meet/flea market knives in service daily around the country but at least you can return it and it costs what it's worth.

I bought one of those when I forgot my knife last summer when I went to Cincinnati. I was only going to be there for a couple days, and when I went to Walmart I decided I didn't value my fingers.

It is a piece of crap, in case you haven't figured that out. Worth the dollar though. Just barely.

Lol I have seen this. You SOB, you beat me to making a thread like this!!! :D

I die a little inside whenever I walk past the wally-world knife/camping isle. :barf:

Isn't that the one that literally fell apart when he opened the package? The scale was broken and the lock bar fell out or something? Couldn't even test/review it. IIRC.

Heres the infamous vid!!

I bought on a few years ago, back when they were only 99 cents, that's inflation for ya. But yeah, its a terrible, terrible knife. Although it was decent for practicing sharpening so my money wasnt entirely wasted

The video was very funny. Definitely a knife that's worth ALMOST a dollar. I'll wait for the half off sale.

Walmart had the fixed blade bait knife for a buck, for years. We had one laying around outside. It never would even come close to taking an edge that would be useful. But, it never rusted, not even a speck.

I bought one for my roommate as a joke because he makes fun of my spydercos and benchmades while he is carrying mtechs. pisses me off. but he actually LIKES THE DAMN THING....i mean what the hell. he carries it all the time the thing is so dull it cant cut anything.the thing broke while OPENING A LETTER. lol

That video was hilarious!!!
I dont buy knives from wallyworld but kept seeing that one a long time ago and ended up buying it out of curiousity, i opened it up at work and flicked it open a few times, one side of the pivot screw along with the pocket clip went flying, i was lucky that the blade didnt launch across the office floor! I tightened the pivot screw and took it to the Sharpmaker (waste of time), the edge got better but never good, maybe if i had the diamond rods, who knows. I figured i'd keep it to lend out to my employees but it's a law suit waiting to happen so its in my desk collecting dust... It would probably be a great prison shank though because you could stick someone and break it off at the handle.

I bought one of these years ago. We were on our way to state park in the area for a day-hike and I forgot to bring a knife. We had some lunch items with us that required cutting and I felt a bit naked without a knife so we stopped by the store that shall not be named (I hate that place) and I picked one up. It got the job done, but just barely.

The wife actually found it the other day when cleaning out our old day packs and and asked me if I wanted it. It was unceremoniously tossed in the trash.

I actually spent under 2 bucks for this one and threw it in the tackle box lat time we went camping. It really is a pretty decent blade considering the price.
