Cheated on my ZT 0801 with an Asian beauty, now I may have to get divorced

Theres features I like & dislike at the same time, love the handles, dont like some of the pocket clips,& im sure those two blades with the fuller & holes in the blade are going to start trouble.just waiting for someone to start saying they are Begg ripoffs. .I love my 401x,hopefully ill find another that has the right balance for me...

I've been lucky enough to handle several Kizers in recent months.

In every case they were extremely smooth, and felt high quality in every regard. Great F & F. I believe they are for real. I think once people get over their hesitation and word of mouth spreads, the company will grow and sales will take off.

been wanting this knife for awhile Kizer ki4423 thanks for the info and the pictures, I'm curious how stout the lock bar is when engaged with the blade. use to have a BM mini skirmish years ago and it had a very thin lock bar didn't have a very stout feeling. the actual area that contacts the blade on this Knife seems very small. But I love the design it looks perfect and now that the blade length is cleared up as far as how Kizer measures, I really am thinking its time to have one.

That tanto in the second pic is calling my name!

They've had pictures of these prototypes up on their site for awhile now as "prototypes", and I think some of them have been released, but they seem to be somewhat hard to find, or not many retailers carry them.

I'm not sure what's up -- Kizer used to release new models quite consistently, but seems to have really slowed down. I think I asked them awhile ago about ordering some prototypes, but if I remember correctly, they said I had to order a minimum of 10 of each model, or something like that.

I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the "flea market " looks of these.

I won't argue matters of style preference, obviously, but I will tell you that these knives are very well executed and present an excellent value proposition for any actual use.

They're not that hard to find, most of these models have been at multiple online retailers for a while. For example:

I can't use BladeHQ. What are the other retailers that carry them?

And they do not seem to have these

One model that you have pictured twice, the first one, is only listed as a prototype by Kizer, not a production model.

For the other two, neither appeals to me at a glance, and it's quite possible that retailers have had the same gut response to them and just chosen not to stock those models.

As far as what other retailers carry them, google is your friend because I'm not sure they're all names that are allowed to be linked here. If you just start with big knife sites whose name starts with "knife" I'm sure you'll find somewhere else that carries them, albeit at sometimes much higher prices than bladehq.

Very nice. I like a lot of Kizers offerings. Congrats on your new purchase. I actually really like the blade shape. And they seem to really be offering something unique. Especially for the price.

Love the design. The pattern on the scales reminds me of ancient Greek patterns...

Another knife to add to the ever growing wishlist.
