Cheburkov Russian #1 Has Arrived

Doesn’t quite show up in the photos, but the pivot rings are violet. Doesn’t perfectly match the clip or backspacer but it’s close enough for me.

Looks awesome been thinking about a Large Ti Strizh but would really like a frame lock Cheburkov and I like the Scout, my only problem is I like carrying knives with a AOL of 7.5" to 8", only have one knife over 8" and that's a ZT 0393 at 8.25" which is the size of the Strizh L. Owning non flipper frame lock knives have really tough me how to relax my fingers when deploying a frame lock knife, my 1st took me about 3 days and some pain before I finally got it down. If I don't pull the trigger on the Strizh if I ever get a Rusky it will probably be a Neon Zero or Hation.

What blade length are you comfortable with a frame lock flipper?

I've been lurking over Cheburkovs for a while but I wish they'd make a 3" blade. I rarely carry anything longer than that lately.

Beautiful knife though.

Yeah, you need to be in that 75-76mm range. Even a Shirogorov NeOn Zero is 3.375” or 86mm, same as the Hation Zero.

I have Neon Ultra Lite and I get by with that being a little over 3” because it’s so darn thin and the B/H ratio is near 1 to 1. I need to get a little traction added though; that thing is slippery!

There is a Mini Russkiy available. M390, 3.15” blade, 7.36” OAL. Just like mine above but a smidge smaller. EDIT: It doesn’t have colored pivot rings, pocket clip, or backspacer.
