I've used Chechan wood before but, this is the first time using it in a burl. I was pretty happy with it and I'll be looking for more. I hope you like it.
This Crook-back has a 3 1/2" blade of 250 layer "random" pattern high carbon damascus with a total length of 7 3/4". Both the guard and pin are stainless steel with the guard also having a "stippled" face. The handle is stabilized Chechan Burl wood with a throat of obsidian and a black spacer. The sheath is done in (what I call) "croc-a-cow". This is 8 oz. cowhide with an embossed crocodile hide pattern.
Price, with leather sheath: $300.00, plus shipping.
