IF feedback is desired, my first reaction to this pattern is not all that positive, but it is not a big deal - especially if can get it "hand-shaped" as an alternative.

The brick pattern does offer some pretty great grip, it's a great design but that is just one of the awesome parts of this fantastic knife.
