Check out this DAGGER PIC

Gee Michael I never gave it much throught, I just hand grind my cutting edges in, checking by eyeballing to make sure there straight and centered, scratch a lite center line down the middle of the blade and start grinding. I use a piece of pyro ceriam glass so I have a really good flat platen and I grind slow, most people can grind 2 or 3 blades to my 1, thats how slow I am. But I would rather go slow then to make a big mess. I know this doesn't help much if any, sorry. Just grab your dagger up and get to it. It will turn out great I'm sure.

Good luck,

Bill

That's one beautiful piece of work, Bill! You ground it by the seat of your britches, and that's a sign of a real artist, too. Yep, you rank right up there with the best, in my opinion. Your knife took a lot of work before you started grinding, and your beautiful damascus really shows it.

Thanks Darren and John along with all the others that have commented , I truly am greatful for your comments.
