For all you guys that use a tec-lock on your kydex, here is a neat product. Its a DMT stone that mounts to the underside of your tec-lock. Its a great way to carry a spare stone in the bush, or the stone itself looks like a great PSK sized option.

Here is a link to a pic...

that is a pretty cool idea. i have also seen/read where people will get one of the DMT credit card sharpeners and ,after cutting it down to size, gluing it to their kydex.

I have heard a lot of good about them from one of their folks on another forum. You could fasten a couple on your otter box , or pelican , if you use them for psk's.

BarberFobic, that's pretty cool idea too. I may have to try that.

Yeah I was thinking it would be kewl in my peilcan box.

I like the idea of epoxing one to kydex too.

Tom Krein has been using/selling these for quite a while. I ALMOST got one with the last sheath that he made for me, but alas I did not. I'd lean towards small crock sticks instead I think, or some sandpaper. The little teklok sharpener just seems too small for me. Though with some skill, it might work better and would take up less room that 1 or 2 2" crock sticks, but not less room than some sandpaper.

I'd be curious of some thoughts on people have from using this?

Yeah me too. I wonder what the specs on the sharp shim are and what grit it is.

I like the idea of having a choice of grits with the credit card sharpener, and it would be simple to make your own sharp shim out of one. With the size and thickness, they would pack nicely. You could have all 3 grits, and only be .18 thick, and 1x2. So Im with ya, it looks like a better deal.
